Items Vanished (1.7.1.2)

Tuesday, June 19 2012 between 4:30 and 5:00 a.m.

What happened:

Disconnected from one server then joined another to find my primary weapon, secondary weapon, all equipped ammo, bandages, and one can of baked beans all vanished. My secondary weapon was also replaced by a Makarov with 3 mags. I did still have both my water bottles, one can of pepsi, one morphine injector, and one box of painkillers in my actual inventory. Large coyote pack and loot within still there as well.

Where were you:

Just south of Zelenogorsk in the wilderness.

Current installed version:

DayZ Patch 1.7.1.2 - Latest Beta patch for Arma 2

Servers you were on:

I jumped between a few different servers. Some of them were tagged as 1.7.1.2 but were actually running 1.7.1.1. The server I was on when I last had my gear and disconnected was US Chicago 49. After that I logged into an EU server to find the above items missing from my inventory.

System specs:

Windows Vista 64 bit

Intel QX9770 Extreme Quad Core @ 3.2GHZ

6GB of Kingston DDR3

2 NVidia 9800 GX2s in SLI (one card turned off at the moment)

2 250GB WD Raptors and 2 500GB Sata II hard drives

1200w PSU

Timeline of events before and after:

Was testing the latest patch when servers started going crazy due to the hatchet/crowbar mass spawn bug. Had to do a bit of server hopping until I found one that was stable and was in fact running 1.7.1.2 (maybe joining a few servers that were actually running 1.7.1.1 was the cause of this), when all of a sudden I load back in to find my M4 CCO and about 8 mags completely gone, as well as my M9SD replaced by a Makarov with 3 mags, all equipped bandages gone, and one can of baked beans gone. None of the items in my large coyote pack went missing luckily, nor did either of my water bottles, one can of pepsi, one morphine injector, and one box of painkillers in my actual inventory. I have tried connecting to just a few servers after the fact only to find the same result. Sad day... :sleepy:
