Panthere zombie nerf.

Hello guys/girls.

I bought my 3e server this week. and we run panthera. but as you all know the 1.8 update zombies are insane. Now i know that there is a way to chance the zombie hearing distance by shooting pistols etc, bec if i shoot a makarov now zombies come running over from 200 meters. so i am looking for someone who can lead me in the right direction or give some tips.
