What's the hive component written in, Python?

(the serverside daemon, hiveauth etc, and the backend?)

Just curious, I read about it needing some Python stuff but I'm not sure

Does not need python, it's written in C++ or C# (not sure).

VCRedist 08 / 10 is all it needs.

Servers these days do not use hiveauth/hive, we use an integrated hive.

Could be py2exe ... but yeah, could be written in C++, I can't even find where it says python anymore (though c++ is pretty clunky for an app like this). Are there other mods that use hive?

Really curious as to how it works, sorry - passionate coder kid in me wants to know how everything in this world ticks. :) :sleepy:
