So that tittle may be a tad more dramatic then needed.

But I just want to know about the state of the Servers on Dayz Commander. I do not like playing on Private Hives. I am somewhat of Purist, and I also find it aggravating that literally all the private hives I've seen are not vanilla its all 200+ vehicles, no pvp, blah blah etc etc. Also I don't want to work for my 40k+ humanity again lol.

So when I go to Dayz Commander, I find literally only two hive servers that I can connect to. The rest are either insanely high ping or wrong beta patch. Basically I just want other people opinions on this I think its a tad stupid, but I guess I'll have to suck it up and move over to a private hive somewhere. So feel free to spam your private server adverts as well.

Summary, I want your opinions on the insane number of private hives, and a good one to suck up and join. Preferably a vanilla or as close as I can get.

I do understand how you feel. I myself enjoy some of the stuff private hives offer because it gives a new experience. The biggest problem with public hives though, is of course hackers.

Most people have gone over to private hives to avoid these hackers. That explains lack of populated public hives Script kiddies and 12 year old COD squeakers have ruined this mod. They've made many give up on DayZ, and others resort to trying to "Counter Hack". Though counter hacking is just as bad as hacking.

Stand Alone isn't too far off in the horizon. The land has been spotted and the ship is closing in. We'll be there soon. The hackers will be gone for the most part and we'll have a brand new "vanilla" experience.
