Primary weapon won't appear in gear

Hi all, i just found a mk17 at a crash site, and as i picked it up it didnt appear in my inventory. The infomation of the gun is in the top right hand of the screen and i can shoot it (cant see it though). This has also happened witht he g36, doesnt show up in my gear, cat see it, but i can shoot it. Help needed, thanks.
