Can't join any servers "Bad version"

I just bought ARMA 2 CO last night and installed Arma 2, and Arma 2 OA.

I also installed the DayZ Mod from Steam and it didn't work, so I ran Arma 2 OA and went to expansions, and checked the @dayz and DayZ ones. I then restarted and DayZ was installed or whatever.

However I cannot join any servers due to Bad version errors.

Every server is the same thing.

Is there any way to fix this?

Also what should I be launching DayZ from? The DayZ mod in my steam inventory or Arma II OA?

I have found also if DayzC gives u issues, I found that solving that takes only accessing days through steam directly, and choosing play DayZ with Beta patch instead of arma2: oah DayZ. But that way u guys suggested sounds like a more permanent solution.
