backpacking

Recommended Posts

A couple of times I've come across a larger backpack. I choose take pack and then the weapon I had stored in the original backpack is nowhere to be found. Am I doing something wrong? Am I supposed to open the new backpack first and transfer items over then pick it up? I normally just chose take backpack because it's quicker but I think I must be doing something wrong because items are disappearing. Thanks.

I usually put stuff from current in to new backpack, then select take backpack.

Thanks,

You have to manually move items around. Backpacks can be extremely confusing. I've been playing almost a year and I still lose items to them occasionally.

In a lot of cases if you just "Take Backpack" it will replace and delete your old one. Your best bet is to either place what you currently have in your pack in the new one and then proceed to take it or drop your current pack, pick up the new one and access your old pack which should remain on the floor.
