Inverted Bullet Drop

Recommended Posts

(please disregard my other thread pending moderation - didn't follow format)

Date/Time:

Several times but between 2000-2359 GMT 18/06/12

What happened:

Using STANAG SD in both an M16 & M4A1 CCO (non-SD version) I noticed reverse bullet drop. I expected to have to aim high to allow for the lower bullet velocity but instead had to aim low, so at medium range would have to aim at knee height to secure a headshot.

Where you were:

NW Airfield & surrounding area

What you were doing:

Shooting zeds. Same effect happened during tests against trees/walls etc.

*Current installed version:

1.71

*Server(s) you were on:

DE4

*Your system specs:

i5 2600k, 7850, 8gb ram

*Timeline of events before/after error:

Traveled from NE airfield to NW airfield in vehicle with squadmates. Stopped along the route to refuel and first noticed the bug (only ever used regular STANAG prior to this) when shooting zombies/animals with M16. Continued on to NW airfield and effect was unchanged even after switching to M4A1 CCO. Squadmates report similar experiences when using SD rounds in non-SD weapons.
