At first it was for no real reason just for lols and to see how we died but then some of the most intense stuff started happening so i started editing and stuff. doomtrain 14 Posted April 4, 2013 On the vid difference in sound level between music and voices is too big, when i pressed play i instantly jammed the volume up because i thought it was just a quiet vid then the voices blared out like hell.While watching the vid it seems like your playing name plate on servers only, any kill with nameplates on is pathetic and seriously reduces the overall quality of the vid.Aside from those things i liked it, gl with your vids. I normally play on a hardcore server with no side chat, no nameplates, day/night cycle and no custom loot but I havn't had as much footage from that that I could have used in this trailer. doomtrain 14 Posted April 5, 2013 as for the nameplates you have to understand the origins of my series the hitlist explaining why I am on a server with nameplates.I dont have to understand that at all and nor will the people who see the intro vid when looking for a series to watch.I obv understand how much harder good footage is to create, but that strenthens the point that if the intro is full of top quality stuff its not something you knocked up from 24hrs of gameplay so is of a higher quality.The point im basicly trying to make is, if you want people to randomly come across your trailer video and have it make them want to watch your series/livestream then your best bet is to have the trailer full of things they are incapable of doing. Anyone can join a nameplate server and crosshairs spam players, this wont make them want to watch it when they could play and see the same thing in short order on their own screen.Basicly in order to draw them the intro should contain only your very best stuff, im not dissing your namplate kills everyone has some of them just trying to get across in terms of viewing they hold little value to making people think "i have to watch more of this guy".In terms of what i would want to see for kills i personaly consider 1v multiple stalk and nuetralize the whole group without taking any incoming of the highest quality.I also consider kills where you were fired upon first without knowing you had an opponant and somehow find and return fire kill them of a high level.Also pistol kills are underated, in addition bambis spend more time getting sniped than anything so i imagine they would be pretty exited watching you axing ghillie as50 guys in the back.As i said though if i watched it purposefully to spot weaknesses and give you feedback which i did, and only had two things to say its a pretty good effort so far. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Just cause its a nameplate server dosent make it bad, if anything it makes it better for the hitlist series so we can add more names to the list. I just finished recording season one and have 3 hard drives full of footage. About your killing as50 guys in the back with axes thats what the whole series is about, it is on a bambi server but its where "pro" players come to kill bambis for fun, so we kill them back.
