Idi_Amin 0 Posted April 3, 2013 Hi all,Brand new to the game, i've watched plenty of gameplay on youtube so I pretty much understand what i need to do in game. The problem i have is actually playing the game. I've had very limited success in connecting to servers. At the most all I can ever find is maybe one or two that will allow me to play. Most of the time I get the message "bad version. server rejected connection" sometimes i cant find any servers that will let me on at all. When I select multiplayer i get dozens of servers that show up but within a minute or so they all disappear or have red crosses beside them... really don't know what the problem is but i'm adamant to get it working! Giomanach 0 Posted April 4, 2013 what program do you use?i would download Dayz commander as a start.with the Dayz commander update/install option you can check if you have a wrong version of the mod or the game.from what you posted here, the servers are rejecting you cause you have a wrong version.search up Dayz commander, install it, go to the top right corner (Install/update) and install the maps you want to play, and the correct Arma II and Dayz patch.good luck!
