thirstycactus 0 Posted April 3, 2013 Hey, quick question. Is using group chat the same thing as using the side chat? I'm confused if you are in a server that doesn't allow side chat if there is another way to talk to someone close to you. What I've read makes me think there is a difference. herrjon 478 Posted April 3, 2013 That's how you should always talk to people close to you even with side enabled. You don't give away any info to the entire server, and a lot of servers kick/ban people who use VON over side chat.
