How to customize a server?

hey guys,

i'd like to ask for some tips and advises on how to customize a private hive. I already tried to customize the map using the arma2 editor by pressing "ctrl + e". But when i put the things inside the server, there are somethings on the wrong place or somethings don't appear.

I want to know if there is any other way to customize the map, any other program to do it properly or a library with the right codes for the buildings.

If you guys can help me, i appreciate that.
