It finally happened

I have been up and down Chernarus. I have looted every deer stand. I have been inside every town. I've been there, done that, got the t-shirt.

But never before have I come across the most publicized of all unfortunate incidents.

I was on the AU 500 server, kicking it with my brand new british assault pack (the first I'd ever gotten), an enfield, and my M1911. I'd just killed zombies, gotten supplies, and was on my way out. I (Stupidly) decided to check the sheds on my way out of town. I go in there, loot the place, and go to leave.

Open door.

Crunch.

Dead with a broken leg, shock, and 9000 blood.

Apparently, the door opened with such incredible force that it crushed me into the opposite wall, choking the life from me with its inescapable, inexorable scripted force.

I have now died to every glitch I can think of. It took me over a hundred hours of gameplay, but I did it!

It's ok, I broke my legs because of a door and my friend came in and thought I was the crawling zombie which was around the building.

Think of "killer" doors, walls, heli crash hatches and ural wrecks as haunted by violent spirits ... killer poltergeists. It works for me anyway - along with antimatter zombies that defy natural physics.

Most frustrating death I've experienced so far. Had the Door of Death a few times but in most cases I'm able to recover.

haha, I remember the fist time this happened. Was up in one of the smaller settlements to the north, heard and atv and ran inside one of the wood houses to hide. Guy passes, me thinking I was ninja ^_^ goes to open the door to the house, only to be slammed into the wall breaking my leg, putting me in shock and finally killing me after another 10 seconds of bleeding out.

Ninja fail. <_<

Side note: Next time I heard an ATV, instead of running, I shot that B*** off with crossbow. Oh the glorious rage coming over direct. :D

My personal favorite is death from full by getting walked on by an ally who claims he saw me across the room.

Back room of a store, heard someone outside. i went in the back, and to the left, around the rack to the lockers, around to the door and then laid down to engage the hostile. friend went in and straight to the door. He stepped on me and i died instantly. He killed the hostile with two winny shots, hostile was never even aware of our existence till death.

Afterwards he said i was still by the lockers laid down, he thought i was looting so he moved to engage.
