Server Problems/Hosting your own ?

I have noticed that most of the servers are having problems and when they are not they are always full and this is a huge pain :( so I was wondering on a way to host your own local or non local private servers so you have a fair chance to play on your own server if you cant connect to any of the others .

You'd need a connection to the main database. Without the correct files, this is not possible. You'd be stuck on the "waiting for server response" screen as there is no connection to the DB. I doubt the DayZ dev's would release them to the public though.

I wish they would seriously consider allowing players to host their own server, I'm getting tired of pvp killing...

One thing this game does show is that humanity would surely fail if an event like this would happen in the real. People would kill each other off, down to the very last man. That last person would go insane from being alone!

Atleast a server that doesnt sync to the database, so you cant play alone with 1 zombie and loot everything then jump on a populated server and use everything you've found.
