Seattle 14 banned for touching clan's stuff

We stubled up the main clan's camp and went through their shit, now get kicked every time we try and join.

Upon attempting to join Seattle 14 I get "You have been kicked from the server" every time. Every other server works ok.

I'm not saying I support or D/C myself. All I'm saying is that it's not a bannable. And if you hate the community so much, I question your ability to accurately judge what is right or wrong.

That states that D/Cing to avoid DEATH is an exploit. Does not say D/Cing is exploitable. Pay closer attention to the wording I used :P

Edit- because if it's toward me i'd like you to pay close attention to how I worded my sentences. Rocket specifically states that "Disconnecting to avoid death IS an exploit." Proof: http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=8029. So if you look at my post, the only thing I said was the D/Cing is not an exploit, I did not state D/Cing to avoid death. Constantly D/Cing is not an exploit. Even ghosting is not bannable by Rocket's definition as the person is not D/Cing to avoid death but rather to induce death. If in fact your words were directed to me, I suggest you look closely as to what the person said before administering an insult.

- Their are only two reasons why you, as a server owner, should ban a player on your server. Those two reasons are: Malicious talk, and racism. You may not ban a user for stealing your loot, killing you, spying on you, etc.

- You may only kick for disruptive behavior (such as continued VOIP over side channel). But you may not kick due to race or language or because the person does something you do not like.

- Kicking for extremely excessive ping or desync is permitted, but if abused is grounds for blacklisting

Failure to adhere to these rules will BAN YOUR SERVER'S IP from DayZ.

Oh, apparently it's a dev pointing out the flaws with banning people you think are DCing.

Now, if there was a way of doing it so the rule is always applied fairly, and the devs supported it, great, ban them, they wreck the immersion.

However, there currently isn't a way to have the rule applied fairly to everyone, and the devs have not shown they don't support banning for DCing, and the rules for admins still show only 2 reasons for banning - racism and other offensive/malicious talk. Until that changes, we all just have to deal with it.

It'll get patched out anyway, we just need to be patient for it.
