WelshWizard 8 Posted March 28, 2013 (edited) Hi all,I downloaded the latest beta patch (103419) today (through DayZ Commander), and since then I have been having problems joining any servers with battleye enabled. I have been playing dayz since last August with no issues whatsoever. I have also tried a couple of other games to see if my network could be the issue, but I get consistently good pings with every other game I've tried. The problem is that once I join a server and battleye initialises itself, my ping quickly increases from normal (~30) to well above 1000. From then on it's just a waiting game before I'm kicked for high ping. The ping is so high that it is even difficult to click the ok button in the lobby because of the lag.I know that battleye is the culprit here as I've tried joining servers with battleye disabled and they all work fine.Things I've tried:- Reinstall Dayz- Manually update battleye by downloading the DLLs and overwriting the old ones in the 'Expansion' directory.- Manually downgrading back to the beta patch I was on before I updated (102678)I've searched the forums and found some threads from people with similar problems, but haven't seen any solutions as yet.For example:http://dayzmod.com/f...+battleye +pingDoes anyone have any experience with this issue and could possibly help me out?Cheers,WelshWizard*Edit*Ok I feel a little stupid now, but just for anyone else encountering this issue, restarting my pc fixed it. I presume one of the steps I tried (above) worked and either battleye or something related to the newer beta was cached somewhere and simply needed to be flushed. tsandrey 379 Posted March 28, 2013 You won't get any attention with this problem here. You should make a thread in the Arma forums and PM Dwarden or $able. http://forums.bistudio.com/forumdisplay.php?83-ARMA-2-amp-OA-TROUBLESHOOTING
