Quick melee swap

Wouldn't it be great if we could press a button to quickly swap to a melee weapon in an emergency? Maybe when you press the button it drops whatever you are holding on the ground and swaps to a hatchet/crowbar?

Well this is already being implemented with their quick switch selection which is using 1-9 keys. Have you not seen the videos of some of the inventory stuff? Won't be hard to hit 1 or 2 to switch I couldn't imagine.

On DayZ Mod this is not available.

This is because the Hatchet for example is a weapon which is known as a main weapon.

It has to be removed from toolbelt and be equipped.

The hatchet for one is actually a reskinned silenced weapon with a very short range.
