Game freezing all the time: (Not Specs) (Just started)

Recommended Posts

For the past two weeks i have been playing dayz, once every other day.

Today i join, and play for about ten minutes and i start freezing, every few seconds.

I force quit, and restart. Can play for a minute or two and it keeps happening.

I can't open anything, or interact with anything. If i move i freeze, if i push / to open chat, i freeze.

I can however look around without freezing, i open maps i freeze.

I freeze for maybe 20 seconds, and resumes. Will freeze again though if i do anything.

This came out of NOWHERE. I was able to run with everything on high the last two weeks.

So it's not a spec issue. I have 16GB ram, an i5 2600k, and a GTX580 OC.

I have latest drivers, and everything. I can play other games perfect.

Anyone have any clue how to fix this?

Someone said it may be anti-virus?

Looking forward to a response.

Thanks!

your specs arent the best but w/e

try defraging

try re installing

make sure your pluging your display cord into your grapics card port

also make sure you have no virus'/adware etc etc

Aren't the best? Because i don't have a 680 and i7? Don't need either of them.

I can play all other games fine, so it can't be a hard drive issue. I didn't unplug the cord to begin with,

was working until i tried playing today.

Tried turning anti-virus off. Didn't work.

I can play for 15 mins, and it strikes out of no where.

Going to try re-installing both games.
