When connecting to servers spawning in no where?/invisible

When I spawn in on all the servers I have tried I spawn in invisible. I have tried respawning and installing beta patch - reinstalling the game and the mod (manually) I can't see zombies nor drops. I see the arma 2 "group" chat like "1 move to my front" and "2, Reform in to position" I can also see indication of players like they are in my sqaud from 3000+ meters away?

I find the game uplayible.Please help
