Not loading character

I just got dayz mod for steam with arma II and arrowhead. I can join a server and load a mission on dayz but then my screen goes black and it says loading character but it doesn't get past that screen and I have waited for 5 minutes. I'm not sure if my computer can't run or what is wrong?

Use DayZ Commander and make sure all game files are up to date.

Set filter options on:

- Hide wrong version of the mod

- Hide wrong version of the game

Try different servers.

If this doesnt work... Let us know!

It sounds like either your ARMA 2 beta version or your version of DayZ mod are out of date.

I'd recommend deleting DayZ and reinstalling both DayZ mod and the latest ARMA 2 beta patch with DZC. :)
