Hatchet + Apple tree = ?

ran across some apple orchards, just thought it would be neat to be able to harvest apples as food with a hatchet.

I like the idea of harvesting fruit, however instead of a hatchet make a Fruit Picker, my grandmother had them on her farm, its like a caged in lacrosse stick seen below.

chop tree down. loot tree like you would an animal. harvest wood + apples

Hmm...how about...no hatchet...no fruit picker... haven't you ever picked an apple with your freaking hand? lol seriously....
