Weird boxy grass and tree textures after 1.7.1.2

Recommended Posts

I am well aware that other people have posted about this. I would just like to say that I have the same problem, to bring it to rockets attention. It seems everyone with radeon graphics is experiencing this. Please help.

I have a Radeon HD 5570. When I updated to the beta I too got blocky textures. I did the usual process of painstakingly uninstalling everything, changing video settings etc. Nothing seemed to work, until I turned off both anisotropic filtering and antialiasing in the advanced video settings menu. It worked for me so it may work for you. Let me know if it does / doesn’t

You're very welcome. It had me scratching my head for quite a while and I know how frustrating it was. :)
