Xephin 1 Posted March 20, 2013 So i've played ArmA2 for a while and i've tried multiple tweaks and what not setting changes but it seems i get no noticable FPS change from any of them. Whether its from the config file or ingame.I'm currently using aASUS Nvidia 560 GTX6gb DDR2 RAM (unsure of the developer)AMD Phenom x4 9500 Quad-Core (2.2ghz)and Windows Vista (Before anyone says anything i've tried it on 7 with this setup and still no change)Any suggestions outside the whole (drop $200 on a new processor or ram)[Have to get a new Mobo before i can do that :(]
ziellos2k 35 Posted March 20, 2013 Turn off anti aliasing and set object details (or quality not sure what it's labeled) to the lowest possible setting.
disorder 344 Posted March 20, 2013 (edited) Is it the asus 1gb gddr5 graphics? I had that one it worked fine with arma. Use the following settings if possibleAA offATOC offpost processing offview distance under 2500video memory - defaulthdr lowall other graphics settings (textures/shadows etc) on normal-high tops.your cpu and ram is a little older generation, it might be causing small bottlenecking issues as will any slower 5400 rpm drives. What power supply do you have?
