hi i was wondering, what happens to a server if its not paid after a month?

Some GSP's will send an email warning "you have X amount of days to pay before shutdown". Some will simply terminate your server upon the due-date of the invoice if it is not paid. Pretty simple. If you don't feel like cancelling, you can just let the subscription run out.
