Like if I abort and go in to a different server from the one a just came from there is no way to keep my gear?

If you're on a private hive server, your character data will remain local to that server.

-Private hive weapons/gear/humanity stays on THAT SERVER and doesn't follow you

-Official hive data will be available on ANY OFFICIAL hive server (meaning you can log out of one [official hive] and log into another in the same location with all your gear).

yes it is if you are on a pubilc server then your caracter gets transfered, but if you play on private hive you wont be able to have your gear on an other server
