Turtleownage 0 Posted June 19, 2012 I was playing DayZ earlier today (About 2 hours ago) I got off for a while to wait for the new patch, I got back on, chose a server I regularly play on, and when I clicked it just froze, I tried to go through Arma2: OA and it gave me a "Could not create Direct3d graphical engine" error, so I downloaded Direct3d driver, installed it and same problem, even tried going on 1.7.1 servers, any ideas? ullatec 0 Posted June 19, 2012 Ive had alot of problems in the past with Arma giving me that error. How i fixed it was i edited my ArmA2OA.cfg file and erased everything from, class ModLauncherList on down. What i would do is make a backup of ArmA2OA.cfg which is loaced in /documents/arma 2. and try to load up taht way. It will reset your configuration for in game gfx and stuff, but those can be set back up and the game should work after that. What i found was the problem was it was trying to laod mods from the mod launcher list which it shouldnt have been, but still was, and giving me a error for it. Seems to me there is somewhat of a error on the arma 2 side, but i havnt traced it down enough to find out what is totaly causing it, and i havnt found any info on it with scattered search enginge searches.
