So i played on a few servers and i havent found a single car/bike etc are they that rare?

i have found 1 tractor that whas broken and its not really what i am looking for.

Look on site like Dayz DB and check where the vanilla spawns are and chek those areas. If you just want a car you should mix match your inventory items to include parts and such that way if you do find one you are prepared to start fixing a few of its problems to get it down the road.

Also keep in mind alot of players like to take cars and place them at camps and other areas where they assume people wont look. If you want to go hunting for those cars gear up well and walk the edges of debug with a set of binos.

on private hives with extra vehicles, (SOMETIMES PUBLIC) you can find vehicles in less populated towns.

Honestly in my entire life of playing DayZ I have only found around 3 possibly 4 vehicles on Legitimate official servers.

If you are looking for cars join a server with the cars pumped up a bit.

I hate how people grab and hide the cars, makes it a pain to ever get anywhere faster.

However the upside to not owning a car in dayz is you don't have to worry about it getting stolen.

play on high population servers, they tend to have the highest vehicle turnover rates, and the least stashed in the woods. Or find one of those instant gratification private hives with absurd amounts of vehicles everywhere.

I usually find my cars on the road abondoned. Lol

Check DayZDB if your playing on official servers. And a common place for a camp of vehicles is Grozovy Pass the very very top left corner of the map
