Should i be getting lag?

Recommended Posts

Hello i have been playing dayz for quite some time now and have even upgraded my pc to see if it changes anything but for some reason i still have this same issue?

When i load into a game it doesn't matter if i play on high or low i still get fps drops to about 10-25 in places? is there any fix or could someone help me with this?

My Pc spec is here: http://valid.canardpc.com/2731207

Thank you.

He can run it easily, that's a pretty decent PC even for ArmA's engine. Do some research on tweaking.

Try these in your config...

GPU_MaxFramesAhead=0;

GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=0;

And these start parametres...

-cpucount=4 -exthreads=7 -maxmem=2047 -maxVRAM=2047 -nosplash

Your PC is higher spec than mine and I'm playing on max settings with 30-40 FPS, drops lower sometimes in heavy rain etc. but what can you do?..

Also, make sure post-process effects is disabled, it's a pain in the arse.
