Hatchets, Fire axes and melee weapons - how do you use them

If someone can tell me how to use melee weapons like fire axes then i would grately appreciate it as i usually die from not having a gun and not being able to use my melee weapon.

right click the axe in your tool belt remove from toolbelt it goes into primary weapon slot ... reload that hatchet and its game on...

take the axe or crowbar right click it (symbol on your toolbelt) go on remove from toolbar,reload your weapon :D and you have a beautifull axe

i thought one of the most recent updates made it so melee weapons didn't reload? (i haven't used a hatchet or anything in months, so i haven't seen it in action, i haven't played much on the newer updates)

Yeah you don't need to reload your axe anymore.

And they fixed the crowbar glitch that used to let you rig up your hatchet as a secondary fire for your primary gun. Man, I miss chopping zombies to death with the butt of my DMR.
