Griffith 62 Posted March 14, 2013 So I have seen some videos where people have had some mod of sorts that highlight or glow other players so people can see them hiding in the woods or in buildings. Griffith 62 Posted March 14, 2013 I cant find the video, it was off of youtube the guy was going around with an M24 I think and killing everyone on sight the video was 9 minutes long. THe only thought I have that may explain the effect was possible sunlight reflection but that would not explain wy people were glowing indoors. Shakis 33 Posted March 16, 2013 You may have been playing on a server with it's difficulty set to Rookie or Recruit or what ever the easiest setting is.On this difficulty the "peripheral dots" that you would normally see indicating the presence of a vehicle/animal/player that you have seen recently, appear constantly even when you are looking directly at the zombie/player/animal.It makes spotting mobs easy because they like a white "halo" type thing going on round them and you can see if a player is running through town with lots of aggro because you can see all the white dots scurrying about.
