Couple of questions?

Ok will be getting this game by the end of the month at the latest. I have a couple of questions though.

1) what games do I need to buy in order to play?

2) any good servers out there?

3) going need to buy a graphics card to run this game any good recommendations?

You can buy the Arma complete collection on steam right now... get that.

there's lots of good servers...depending what you class as "good"

What is the rest of your system like? that way I can determine a graphics card that will not bottleneck the system....

DAyz is gonna eat what ever graphic card you by ... make sure your rig can run it before graphic upgrade...

Actually that data is incorrect. it's been noted that FPS in DayZ has more to do with the server you're on, than the system you're running;... if you read the dev blog you'd know this

4000 zombies spawned on the test server... = they had like 7fps.

3000 zombies they got it between 20-30 fps I believe.

currently they're optimising it for more..

but the current servers are the same.. 400 zombies up and you'll start noticing the lag when you go on a 40/50 server and there's alot of zombies up... Fps will drop ..

I am not to sure what the towers specs are because something happened to it and it just stop working. Lol, But I'm going to paying for it to be fixed up and to work again so idk.

Not necessarily true. I have a 6850 which was a mid range card three years ago and it runs smoothly at almost max settings. View distance in DayZ is set at 1600m i think. 10k view distance in Arma 2 will eat your video card. I'm sure a 7850 which is only $150 right now will run it even better.
