How to install the mod?

Hi,

I have Arma 2 CO installed and I have placed the Day Z files in a @dayz folder within the Arma 2 directory...but now I don't know how to launch the mod.#

P.S. this isn't the steam version of the game.

If you have 2 seperate installs, then copy the arma 2 addons folder (not the dayz one) and paste it inside your AO folder. Move your dayz folder to the AO folder after that. Make sure your dayz folder looks like this AOfolder-@dayz-addons-extracted dayz files. When you did all of this start up AO (not as CO) then go to expansions and enable arma2 and @dayz and press apply. Then restart the game as is asked and try to join the server. If you have retail make sure that both games are up to date and have a seperate install. If you need more help check my thread "new users with problems check here"
