Your Paranoia ISN'T uncalled for

Recommended Posts

Hello, fellow survivors.

I am here to tell you that your paranoia of others ISN'T uncalled for. There are plenty of rational reasons to be afraid or untrustworthy of another survivor. If you feel they are leading you to a trap or waiting to kill you, mug you, or even is some cases sexually violate you, there are appropriate responses:

-Ask the person to leaves; Tell him/her you want to part ways. If they refuse, threaten them at gunpoint. If they raise their gun at you, do not be afraid to shoot. Sadly, if they refuse to leave, they are most likely trying to get you into a vulnerable position.

-There is always the (inhumane) tactic of shooting them and asking them later, but this is.. frowned upon.

-You can tell them it is time for you to go and leave the server. They may attempt to kill you while you are aborting, so make sure to take precautions. Leave without warning, hide in a building while you two were 'splitting' up for more efficient looting.

If you are suspicious of another survivor, do not push your paranoia away. Use it to your advantage, and remember:

DON'T PANIC!

Some good advice to the "bambis"

I for one always have back up whilst playing, teaming up with 1 or plenty of people is your best answer to alot of problems.

Im constantly paranoid, and if i see a player acting suspicioully or i see them kill someone i will shoot, i always shoot the head scarf wearers which isnt always the best option as they may be friendly but had no choice but to kill people.

Put your paranoid to real use and just KoS, no need for talking because you don't need to talk.

I've only been playing since last night and have been killed on sight as the reason for my death each game. My second game I called over to a nearby survivor for bandages as I was about to bleed out, and he shot me. lol. I was unarmed, and won't make that mistake again. I even switched my survivor to female thinking maybe I'd get a bit of female bambi mercy, but nah. My role today has been to totally stay away from other players. I'll pick up as much loot as I can find when I spawn and then it's to the woods I go.

Although last night I fired a round from my enfield to get a zombie off of my tits and had the entire damn city after me. Hilariously this guy in a red tractor comes by as I'm retreating to the woods honking his horn and successfully getting the zombies to follow him instead of me. I don't know if that was intentional but that was amazing.

My suggestion is always be in control, Lie through your goddamn teeth if you have to, I've been reckless and gotten into some sticky situations and you would not believe how much saying "i've got a sniper watching" will slow someone down. Gives you time to either shoot back or run.

But try to stack the odds in your favor, travel in a group, or bring a nice loud gun, or better yet flares and smokes. Nothing keeps a bandit off you like a horde a zombies.

Hello, fellow survivors.

I am here to sexually violate you

Seems Legit.

I don't know, I prefer the "Don't interact with other players" tactic if I'm without my friends.

If you see somebody don't run up to them just go prone and wait..

Then shoot them in the head as they go past :)

It is repulsive that all of these people are replying with advice of 'KOS' and such. Seriously, I let unarmed players go. Sometimes I even help.

No need to shoot a new spawn.

That means they have to load in again.

What's wrong with a little sexual violation among friends? If I'm helping you out, I expect a little compensation.
