I've played on Wasteland-like DayZ servers such as this one, they are absolutely no fun at all.

It takes literally almost no time to get fully kitted. After that you just take one of the hundreds of helicopters and fly around for the shits and giggles.

its not "wasteland like" its a private dayz server with some good features, wasteland was a waste to start with, this is just simply a lil more car density, you cant get an apache to fly becuase it op, but its there for admins. just try it. Towing and heli lift is enabled, tents should save, and im not sure why meat wont cook.

There are so many servers that do this DayZ players don't even need help finding them.

In fact, this isn't DayZ, even. You can get everything you'll ever need in 5 seconds, and then everyone just death-matches. It's not even DayZ. It's not even survival. It's like wasteland. It's like WarZ.

I know, I should not even utter that name in these forums in other than the discussion thread, but it needs to be said here.

It's a great server, why?

Because normally, while you're scrounging around for supplies, you have everything and have the opportunity to kill everything which you normally wouldn't. But that's the thing. You got it on no skill. You get it from a modded server, not from hard work, and can replace it in 5 seconds.

Come on now, if you're gonna make a special kind of DayZ server, make something that ENHANCES the gameplay, not CHANGES IT COMPLETELY. Otherwise branch off, and call this damn server something else besides DayZ.

I'm sorry, but I'm tired of spending 3 hours trying to find a vanilla server for any map, ESPECIALLY Panthera, and especially one that doesn't get hacked every 2 days....

People like these servers because they can come on, blow stuff up easily and get off. They don't care about your server. They're just there for a "one-night stand" kind of deal and leave it in the dust when everything's blown to shit.

It's something they can trash and go to a new one easily. THAT'S why.

You want people who care about your server? Cater to the people who care about DayZ.

there isint high loot, you cant find the best gear in 4 hours, you can find a car easy, but you need to repair it, and you cant just "death match" the AI patrols will hunt you down.

also its a private dayz, its not public hive and btw it gets pretty fucking boring in vanhilla, its boring having just tents and ural in the bush come play or stop posting.
