Come check Better Dead than a Zed! We are new server that currently has a fairly low population. It doesn't matter if you are a lone wolf or play with friends you are all welcome on our server. The admins are all mature & fair and there is a friendly atmosphere on the server. We have mostly UK gamers but a few overseas users also play. If you plan on making a permanent base on the server the admins will help you out with some equipment and even add custom buildings to the map for you. Dayz is unforgiving to new players so we have given our users a starting weapon, some gear, Map & Compass and a wildcard item that every month we change. We try to help out players who are new to Dayz so this is a good server to start learning how to play.

We are constantly improving the server and adding new features. If there's something you want on the server, you just have to ask! We have community forums and are working on integrating the database with a user portal so you can check server and player stats in real time.

Another server offering items to try and get people to stay, Kind of ruins the whole "survivor aspect" of the game.

Its meant to be hard, meant to be scavanged for items. giving people items unbalances the game.

Let them play how they want without giving them any sort of bonus to other players.

Unfair advantage springs to mind.... (scripting is the same)

@ICU nah you misunderstand. I'm not offering guns, food etc I'm offering base building items and inserting custom buildings like camo nets & baracades. Hardly unfair advantage when the same offer is open to anyone? They just have to ask. At the end of the Day a lot of us went the private hive route for a reason...because they want things a standard server doesn't offer

Personally my opinion is this doesn't ruin the survivor aspect of the game, you still have to scavenge for food and guns, okay we've added more vehicles but that's because finding a vehicle is extremely hard on standard servers especially when you have vehicle hording going on and we all know there are users out there that do this. We've not got a crazy number of vehicles like some servers so finding them is still a challenge. Everyone's entitled to their opinion and there are plenty of servers out there to suit everyone, so like I said if your a beginner to Dayz looking for a server to learn before progressing to a veteran server, check us out.

scripting .. If you mean the hacking kind, yeah unfair advantage but scripts like the Dogs script or the refuel script nah hardly unfair as its not available to just limited few.. anyone can get a Dog or refuel their vehicle.. Big difference in the kind of scripts that are added to the server to add to the game-play experience and the kind that give you unlimited blood or teleport you
