Doomy server UK 352 Hacker/cheater report

Around 23:40ish I was in Elektro, with broken legs, I was to meet up with a fellow named Tim at the hosptial until he reported a man suddenly appearing and killing him, he blamed it on man who we had talked to but realised that the man who killed him wasn't him, he said he had a similar name beginning with 'J' or so he thought.

Anyways, was using the whole 'defenceless noob' tactic to draw the bandit out of his hiding place, I had seen him run past and I was very close to the hospital, to my avail it didn't work, so I crawled up to a medical box and out of nowhere a bandit teleported right on top of me, if he had killed me fairly I would not have reported this but I suspect foul-play. He killed me but I got a couple of shots into him but he did not die so I did not find out his name. My main suspects are Vader - because he was in Elektro at the time and is a bandit, and also was very suspicious following my death and Jasper because he was the only other person in the server with the letter 'J' following his name.

People are saying they could have server switched but it doesn't add up that he'd login convientely at the same time I got to the box and was rendered defenceless, and before that I had my gun aimed at the ladders for a good 5 minutes. Doomy, my man, please check it out if possible, I am positive it is one of those two. Vader and Jasper. Check the logs, see if you can see the game play, you'll see what I mean.

My ping was very low - to around 35ms, so lag could not have been an issue. I had seen the bandit run past the hospital from the firestation to all the way across the street, not up the ladder so he couldn't have dropped down. The only cause I can think of is malpractise, cheating, hacking.

I have no idea why you think I teleported (how is that even possible?) as I came up from behind and you couldn't see me. You were staring at the ladder, suddenly turned around and started firing at me. So I fired back. Shortly afterwards I died from your wounds (haven't played DayZ since June last year and couldn't figure fast enough how to help myself even though I was next to a hospital).

Hope this clears this up for you.

PS: If you are fast enough(no idea what body despawn times are) you can get my loot (quite some ammo+guns, food, drinks, hospital stuff, watch, binoculars, map, etc...) from there. I stopped playing for today since it's quite late here.

EDIT: Yes, I now know that teleporting is possible. Noticed it on a Russian server; found a Humvee with someone inside. I had nothing useful on me (as I died yesterday) so I just got inside to see what would happen. Suddenly the care with both of us inside was somewhere in the middle of nowhere and a second later I got kicked for something like setPlayerPosition #12.

Your response satisfies me. The difference in ping could be a possibility and one I am willing to accept as I heard that someone 'teleported' but was merely lagging out or ahead of a lagger.

Hi,

Don't allow world chat/speech on you're server if you don't like it, I used chat talking to 3 people and you say "please don't use chat" so I respond with "That is what the chat is for so no i'll use it" and you ban me? lmfao, you can easily just turn world chat off if you don't like it idiot.

We have side chat enabled too and enforce a strict no voice in side chat policy as well. It's a simple rule... just type in side chat and dont use voice. You went against his server rules so you got banned... tough luck :) Try the same on our server and you will be banned after a warning too...

its in the message of the day the no chat rule. As to the ban I mearly responded to you being rude ! Bad Server owner.. by crikey really I pay so you or those who do can play on a decent and well policed server. Whats with this underlined thing then can't turn It off oh well must be an idiot afterall .......

perhaps you should learn some respect, Doomy goes out of his way like many other server admins to help contribute and give a little back to the community,

not for fail trolling little derps like you that have no respect for the admins or the other 35 players that need to hear whats going on around them.

Theres are many players that type over the sidechat and thats whats its enabled for. its the same for my server and many others too.
