Help with custom loading screen? (not working)

Well I followed the tutorial, extracted the mission.pbo, edited the Loading = line properly, added a 1024x512 jpeg image which was like 200kb, repacked it as PBO and uploaded it to the server.

but when I do this when I try to connect to the server it just says Wait for host.

there's a ping rating and it's in playing state I think, but it just says Wait for host when I join, same for everyone else.

Any help? I really want my loading screen in.
