safe to change skin now with latest beta and 1.7.1.1?

According to this thread http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=11402 by dayz staff its should be safe to change skin if you have the latest OA beta files installed.

Can someone confirm this? I have ended up in the ocean once with no beta installed and running 1.7.0 then.

Now I have installed latest OA beta and 1.7.1.1 and everything seems to run fine but I havent dared to change my skin again(lost the last one in debug when having problems with the 1.7.1 update). It fells very unsecure to do this. And Im on day 13 now building my character for several hours of gameplay and dont want to loose it due to a skin change.

But still I would really like to use another skin than the survivor.

I changed my skin to camo and it worked fine. To be safe I dumped my gear in a tent, then tried it on. It worked. My friend did the same, and it worked.

We both relogged and did this. I would recommend setting up camp first then trying just to be safe.

yeah..it's smart to do all that...but I don't give a dog shit....I slap it on a go about my way....if it bugs..well...fuck.
