Spawning Errors

Everytime I join a server I have been spawning in the same place always with the same items, I have no status window )with the number of zombies killed, murders, blood, etc etc) and when I use Respawn I just end up in the middle of nowhere, in a terrain that has no trees, no houses, nothing, and just seems to be infinite. I have recently updated to 1.7.1.1 and since then this started happening.

I should also mention that when I don't use respawn, I run around the area I spawn and even though it seems pretty normal I never find any zombies or players when I get to small towns.

I am having the exact same problem since 1.7.1 update spawn in field with loads of other players dead and alive no town all kited out no survival option no zombies ak47s and glocks i am spawning with I just want the normal game back were i start on a beach and start surviving ..... Real let down....
