Zombie Damage is way too low.

Food and Water is abundant.

I was always thinking "Why??" These are aparant mistakes which could have been

fixed long time ago by adjusting a couple of values.

Zombies are a serious threat in DayZ+ as they kill you in 3-4 hits.

They still have the same buggy AI but are at least they are a threat; athmosphere increases.

3 to 4 hits? I'd be happy with 10 hits, 15 ... right now it takes like 40...

And why do we have food & drinks ingame right now? You find it everywhere...

Survival is supposed to be a vital element of DayZ...

I know lot of things will change with standalone.

I know this topic is in no way original, it has been discussed before, e.g.:

Make DayZ a living hell

I am posting this because I haven't seen this topic here for quite some time

and I am a bit worried that the Devs will make the same mistake in the standalone.

So, please vote and show your support for these basic changes!

And feel free to discuss if you have a different opinion.

Regards

I'd be ok with this if some of the farms on the map were made interactable and large groups of players were given the option of renovating the farms and cultivating their own food and defending them against zombies and wildlife and bandits. (Think Farming simulator 2013)

Yeah, building loot spawns should be made scarcer, but the hunting and water gathering should remain a fairly reliable option of gathering food besides the farming endgame(farming being the most reliable method, but hardest one to get started with).

This would encourage cooperation among players I think.

why cant people just wait until the stand alone comes out

in the SA there will be more zombies and there path finding will be fixed it may be completely unnecessary to up zombie damage

and the way food spawns will completely change food may become really rare not because it is less likely to spawn but because it will spawn at the start of the server and may not spawn as often

my point is that EVERYTHING is going to change and there are maybe 50 people in the world who know how these changes affect the game in real terms

the idea of making zombies hit harder could be REALLY bad

think about it you get the new game and on the first play you walk in to electro and there are 70 zombies not the 20-25 there is now 70 and when you run for the tree line there are more there as well

running in to a house wont work as they can run too and they stay on you not through some bad, long visual range but because there parthfinding works and they dont get stuck behind every tree bush rock and wall

will you then be thinking i wish they hit harder ???

frankly rocket knows what he is doing and i trust him loads more than the average dev if he decides to keep zombie damage as it then i very much doubt it will be a mistake
