SA-58V, is it good?

I had found a m16 with a grenade launcher attachment plus two grenades, but I was struggling to find ammo and I was certain there were bandits nearby so I made a split decision to swap it for a SA-58v as I had ammo for it. I was just wondering, was it a good decision? If not then I may have to return to the bandit infestation.

Don't the Sa-58V does 4500 damage, while the M16 does 3555. Keep the Sa.

A gun with ammo is always better than a gun without. It also one-hits zombies.

Any AKM or SA in 7.62 will be better suited for pvp than any M4 or M16 in 5.56. Just practice with them or keep your ROF on semi in the meantime.

Edit- SA iron sights are amazing because they provide a better field of view in front of you. The M16 takes up a lot of space on screen and limits visability- encouraging tunnel vision.

Well from my playing both Day Z and Wasteland I'd prefer the SA over the M16/4 anyday. It's amazing for PVP at most a three shot kill.
