DarkOverlord 0 Posted June 18, 2012 Despite the patches to encourage groupwork, is anyone else finding it harder to trust people in the game?My most recent life, I had an AKM and was shooting down a horde of zombies that were walking into the Flight Command building at the Airfield in Balotta. redsh1rt 24 Posted June 18, 2012 Why should the guy trust you? You had a good gun (my fav personally), supplies and more (maybe alice pack etc.). If he hesitates there's a very good chance he will get shot. For all you know he could have had some high end equipment and was afraid of you taking it from him. When I had my silenced M4 and NVG I shot on sight, no questions asked. Why should he take that chance? And if he was helping you mow down zombies why didn't you announce you were friendly then, rather than waiting until he was in a position to fire at you? If you're looking for friends you won't find them at any of the 3 airstrips, or the 2 major cities. You need to pre-empt the 'friendly' call (good luck with that!), if you leave it until you are pointing at one another the guy that hesitates and shouts/types friendly dies more often than not.It was your carelessness that got you killed. fosty99 160 Posted June 19, 2012 That's not as bad as the other day when me and another guy were scouring Elektrozavodsk when we hear gun shots at the church.We approach and notice hordes of zombies running in as a survivor tries to hold them off.We decide to shoot the zombies as the enter the building.My mate walks around to the back of the church do speak to the survivor through direct chat because side chat was disabledWe get no reply and then kill the last zombies.I leaned around from the building I was taking cover behind across the street and saw the survivor. He didn't do anything so I moved out a bit more and saluted.Then he fires at me and hits me, I take cover and bandage myself.He then sprints towards me to finish me off but my mate blows him away as he crosses the road.Good times.If you're going to team up with people, make sure your party has more people and bigger guns.
