What about a Wiki to centralize information about gameplay like basic survival skills, interface, available weapons, how tents and vehicle repairs work etc. etc.

There is lots of info scattered around the forums, a Wiki would be a great way to centralize it. You could even pick a few editors in the beginning and allow only those people to create/edit the wiki.

Usually an official wiki is hosted on the official domain, just like the BIS wiki: http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Main_Page
