Anyone know what the stanalone system requirements may be?

Since there has been gameplay of the game uploaded by Dean Hall, i wanted to know if there was anything about requirements? Right now, i downloaded the arma 2 operation arrowhead demo and i can run it super well on low graphics (i dont care about graphics), and the mod is requiremnts are like ATI Radeon 3580 or something like that. Mine now are 3200.

So if there is any word, do you think i could play? If not, could i play the mod since the demo works so well?

The devs have said that there is a ton of optimization going on with the new engine......BUT....they figure most of that will be eaten up with the new stuff coming. Rocket, or was it Matt said they expect that if you can run the DayZ mod, you'll be able to run the SA.

That makes me a little bit more excited. Im assuming since i can run the demo of arma 2 on low graphics, i should be able to run the mod on low. Thanks for your reply.

If you can run the Dayz Mod, you should be able to run the SA with comparable success. We've been told the specs will be similar to the MOD, but not exact details have been given out.

dayz requieres more, i don't look at the minimum because those are really outdated

Arma 2 and DayZ 'consume' totally different processing power. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Since the last update when they cleared out all the unnecessary files out. DayZ runs a lot better than Arma 2 does on my PC.

i was wondering about that, I'm getting 7-10fps improvement from our servers updating to latest update. Was pleasantly surprised. :D
