Hey guys! I have not been playing Arma 2 or DayZ for about 3-4 months the other day after the Arma 2 beta patch I log into the privite hive and get pop saying CD key in use, I click it and play the game np. I get worried so I sign up on what I thought was Dayz fourms at http://www.dayzforum.com/index.php and ask for help in trying to see if that was just a one time deal or if someone is really using my CD key. I email bistudio / battle eye. 2 question Am Im just now waiting for a global ban because someone has stolen my CD key and 2 did I realy screw up by trying to reg. at the link I gave ? I don't really understand your second question, but in regards for your CD key you just have to hope for the best. If you do get global banned you will just have to buy a new copy. In the future don't download any suspicious programs (a.k.a. DayZ hakz or strange, unknown ARMA 2 mods)

So I think those forums are for their community members and I don't necessarily think registering there was the problem. Chances are you downloaded something that stole your key, I know a guy who downloaded a Single Player mod and found out last night that he now had a Global Ban.

Have you been able to play since? Are you still getting the message?

I have not seen the message but one time cd key in use but one time, and yeah I joind a tact realism server 5-6 months ago and had down loaded some mods for it. Guess thats what they used to steal the CD key. If they do they do steal it guess I will just wait for the stand a lone and Arma 3 to come out. As I would never buy Arma2 again. Thanks for your reply novogeek. But if I email battle eye and bohemia to report this message there is nothing no one can do? I hope that in the Arma 3 and the stand alone they do something different in reguards to the rampant CD resalers/ theifs.

Signing up to a forum won't get your CD key stolen. Downloading a program related to dayz, such as hacks, or key protectors can, and will steal your key though.

If your key really has been stolen though, there is pretty much nothing at all that BattlEye can do about it.

Yeah from day one I have understood the thing with trying to down load a script or hack would pretty much get your CD key stolen. Guess I might now look into the VIP hacks as I have never done it b4 but now I might as well go for it b4 someone eles kills my CD key
