So I just got ArmaII and OA installed....

I bought Arma II complete pack with like 5 expacks. Installed. Found DayZ on steam, downloaded and it installed. I run DayZ and can not connect to anything. The guide seems outdated considering it was made in 2012 and the info isn't up to date. Anyone wanna help a noob out?

found DayZ Commander. is this a good way to install/update all the mods? there seems to be a shit load of mods lol

DayZ Commander shows most of these mods are not installed as well as it shows Arma 2 not found (out of date). So im downloading all these mods and out of date arma 2. See how this goes!

When using DayZ Commander, be sure to click on Settings, and check the box: Replace original Arma2OA files with Beta so steam works. Because sometimes DayZ Commander doesn't update your Arma2 but it says it does.

Also you only have to install DayZ and Arma Update, the other patches like Lingor, Fallujah and Takistan(etc.) are just different maps.
