Stuck at Loading Character Data

A server is updated to the latest DayZ, ARMA II and Panthera yet I get stuck at the Loading Character Data forever. This just started...what's the problem?

Are you the server admin? I had to update my server.pbo file for this issue to go away for me ... although I was getting the "oops something went wrong" problem.

Can you check the server logs ... or get the admin to check it ... the problem might be in there.

you can also try in steam to hit right click on arma 2 oa go to properties - Local Files - Verify Integrity Of Game Cache & any missing files will be found and re-aquired

If you're not the admin, but just a player, you prob should just try another server, and if the server has a forum,

post a message about it. Had the same problem once, turned out the server needed some maintenance.
