Can't join games through steam, only dayz commander after purchase

Hi!

I just bought the expansion packs, British Armed Forces and Private Military Company and I can't join the server i usually play on when I launch the game through steam. If I launch it through Dayz Commander I'm able to join, (Yes I bought the expansions just to get the higher res)

The version is up to date, so I'm wondering what I might be doing wrong

Go to steam.

Try and 'Validate Integrity of game cache' of ArmA 2 and ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead

Then reinstall Battleye.

Go to DayZ Commander.

Reinstall DayZ 1.7.6 and 1.7.6.1

-Remember not all servers have been updated to the latest version 6.1 that is,

ex. all DayZ.ST Private Hives are still running with 1.7.6.
