Just did a fresh install on my computer, ran out and grabbed a nice new headset and keyboard just to play DayZ, downloaded Arma II and DayZ through Steam today (Feb 28th) and now it's saying that I need a different version to play most every server, the most common being 1.62.102285. I have 1.62, which only lets me connect to one server wherein I spawn as a crow. Where can I download this new version and how do I apply it? I really hope someone can help me out, thanks a lot!

Sorry, unsure what you guys mean but I'm a total noob and really don't use steam or play PC games. I actually solved this problem by going to my library and looking under my purchased ARMA II: Operation Arrowhead; there was a darked out "ARMA II Operation Arrowhead Beta" option which I downloaded and ran. It opened up as DayZ and I can now run all the servers through there. Thanks for the response guys, hopefully one of our solutions will help someone.

Lemur, you should look into dayz commander anyway, it makes life so much easier. You won't be disappointed.
