'Missing Executable' when attempting to use Beta Patch

Alright, so I got DayZ a few days ago and a new update came out (1.7.6.1) and I attempted to play it by going to properties and then going to betas, and select 1.7.6.1. But when I launch it normally it works, but I can't join any of the updated servers. Then when I try to run with beta patch it says Missing Executable. My two other friends, who did the exact same thing had absolutely no problems. Any one have a fix? I did go to the properties and verified the game files.

I would really like to fix my DayZ so any help is welcome.

I did end up fixing this. I am really stupid because I didn't install the OA beta patch.

yes the steam vertion of OA beta patch is needed. if you stop getting the beta launch otion then you can right click steam dayz in the library and see the option that way
